We are halfway through 2019! Throughout our training, interactions in person and on social media, a question we often get is how to start journaling. An excellent way to start is by doing our journaling challenges. We have divided our blog into sections where you can simply click on Journaling Challenges and it will direct you to all of our inspirational, empowerment and thought-provoking posts.
Journaling doesn’t have to be complicated!
This past week in one of our workshops we discussed how we can reclaim our self-care lifestyle without spending tons of time. Enter: the ONE WORD journaling challenge. Like anything else in life, consistency is the key to real, lasting results. Our aim is to journal for fifteen consecutive days!
Set aside five to ten minutes each day, preferably at a specific time. For example just after waking up, at lunch or just before you go to bed. Set a reminder on your phone for the next fifteen days.
Ensure that your journaling space is free from distractions and loud noises.
Take a deep breath in through your nose, out through your mouth.
Read the first “card” below and allow yourself to resonate with one of the words on the card.
Write what thoughts come to mind.
Close your journal until tomorrow.
Complete this process for fifteen days. On day sixteen, read through your journal and find a commonality between the entries, integrate a life lesson and celebrate your perseverance!
Keep Journaling, Keep Growing!
